Research Associate, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology

The Aga Khan University, Karachi invites applications for a Research Associate in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

• Qualification: MBBS, BS or MSc, MPH, MSc Epidemiology & Biostatistics, or a Master’s in another relevant field
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work, preferably in community, hospital or research settings
• Good communication skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research study work with project staff and stakeholders, and train staff where needed
• Develop research proposals in Obs & Gynae, search and apply for grants, and liaise with funding agencies
• Conduct literature reviews and help write manuscripts, reports and presentations
• Prepare ERC/IRB and NBC applications
• Attend evening Zoom or in-person meetings with the in-country team and sponsors
