The Aga Khan University, Karachi, invites applications for an Emergency Physician Informaticist in its EHR Programme team, reporting to the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO).

Requirements

• Graduate of a medical college (MBBS, MBChB or MD)
• 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. Completed residency training in Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Clinical experience with inpatient, outpatient and peri-operative care and direct patient care responsibilities
• Understanding of clinical care pathways, treatment plans, order management and physician documentation

Responsibilities

• Support and improve EHR functionality and clinical workflows, and integrate the EHR into everyday clinical practice.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for physicians, nurses and ancillary staff.
• Test clinical information systems and work with leadership to define system and process requirements.
