Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT) Karachi invites applications for various posts on contract basis for the Trauma and Emergency Response Center at Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Hospital, Sukkur. Place of posting: Sukkur. Domicile: Sindh.

Consultants and Specialists

  • Consultant Emergency: FCPS / FRCS / DAB or equivalent, valid PMDC registration
  • Consultant Anesthetist: FCPS (Anesthesia), valid PMDC registration
  • Consultant Radiologist: FCPS (Radiology), valid PMDC registration
  • ICU Physician: FCPS (Anesthesia / Critical Care), candidates having post FCPS fellowship in intensive care, valid PMDC registration
  • Emergency Physician: FCPS in Emergency Medicine / Medicine / Surgery / MRCP or equivalent, valid PMDC registration
  • Junior Consultant Radiology: FCPS (Radiology), valid PMDC registration
  • Specialist Radiologist: MCPS / DMRD (Radiology), valid PMDC registration
  • Specialist Anesthetist: MCPS (Anesthesia) / DA, valid PMDC registration
  • Preference for consultant and specialist posts will be given to candidates having post-qualification experience in a reputable hospital

Medical Officers (age limit as shown)

  • Resident Medical Officer (ICU / Anaesthesia): MBBS with house job and completed training of FCPS / MCPS / DA in Anaesthesiology, valid PMDC registration. Age: 45 years
  • Resident Medical Officer (Emergency): MBBS with house job and completed training of FCPS (Emergency Medicine / Medicine / Surgery), valid PMC registration. Age: 45 years
  • Senior Medical Officer (ICU / Anesthesia): MBBS with house job and 2 years experience in Anesthesia or ICU in a reputable hospital, valid PMDC registration. Age: 45 years
  • Medical Officer (ICU / Anesthesia): MBBS with house job and 1 year experience in ICU / Anesthesia in a reputable hospital. Age: 35 years
  • Resident Medical Officer (Radiology): MBBS with FCPS / MCPS / DMRD (Radiology) training, valid PMDC registration. Age: 45 years
  • Senior Medical Officer (Radiology): MBBS with house job and 2 years experience in Radiology or ultrasound in a reputable hospital. Age: 45 years
  • Sonologist: MBBS with house job and diploma in Ultrasound / Ultrasound course (6 months) with 1 year working experience in the relevant field, valid PMDC registration. Age: 45 years

Terms

  • Contractual appointments for 2 years, renewable on performance
  • Salary as per Trauma Pay Scale
  • Those in government service are ineligible to apply
  • Only post-qualification experience will be considered
