Iqra University is inviting applications for the position of Medical Officer at its M9 Highway Campus.

• Qualification: MCPS / DFM / MBBS (with 1-year house job)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in any hospital or clinic
• Location: Iqra University M9 Highway Campus, Karachi

Job description: The Medical Officer will oversee the health and well-being of students, staff and faculty, providing essential medical care and support within the university community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency response for on-campus injuries or illness of staff, faculty and students
• Ensure the medical office is operational during the agreed hours
• Keep medical supplies in stock and maintain inventory
• Maintain confidentiality of patients’ health issues
• Be available for timely care throughout duty hours wherever needed in the university
• Document patient progress reports in SOAP format (Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan) in patient files
