Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine (PET/CT), Lahore

Applications are invited for a one-year PET/CT Fellowship position in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at SKMCH&RC Lahore. The fellowship offers training in PET/CT and related clinical research.

The department has 3 PET CT facilities (2 in the SKM main department in Lahore and 1 in Peshawar), with all reporting done in Lahore on dedicated workstations with remote image link, an onsite cyclotron with provision for F18 and Ga68 radiotracers, two SPECT/CT cameras, one dual-head gamma camera and two DXA scanners. A 4th PET scanner is being commissioned at SKMCH Karachi.

Job description

• Structured rotations within the Nuclear Medicine department with a focus on PET CT
• Become familiar with production of PET radiopharmaceuticals, PET CT acquisition and clinical applications
• Active participation in multidisciplinary tumour boards covering adult and pediatric oncological cases
• Commitment to clinical excellence, CME and research

Eligibility criteria

• MBBS
• FCPS (Nuclear Medicine)
• Updated and valid PMDC / PMC registration
• Minimum 4 years of approved Nuclear Medicine experience
• Successful completion of approved training programme
• Ability to communicate effectively, good leadership qualities and ability to work within a team
• Dynamic decision-making capabilities and ability to manage personnel
