FCPS Part-II and MCPS Training Session July 2026

Nawaz Sharif Social Security Teaching Hospital, Multan Road, Lahore invites applications for the FCPS Part-II Training Program (Paid) and the MCPS Training Program.

FCPS Part-II Training (Seats and Duration)

  • General Medicine & Allied: 4 seats (2 seats for 4-year General Medicine and 2 seats for its allied disciplines for 2 years)
  • General Surgery & Allied: 4 seats (2 seats for 4-year General Surgery and 2 seats for its allied disciplines for 2 years)
  • Gynae & Obstetrics: 6 seats, 4 years
  • Paediatric Medicine: 4 seats, 4 years
  • Pulmonology (R-3): 2 seats, 3 years

FCPS Eligibility

  • Candidates who have passed FCPS Part-I not more than 3 years ago in other disciplines and 5 years ago in Pulmonology.
  • Age not above 40 years on the last date of submission of application.
  • 2 years IMM training in Medicine with mandatory rotations is essential to apply for Pulmonology.

MCPS Training (Exclusively for Regular Employees of PESSI)

  • Gynaecology & Obstetrics: 2 seats, 2 years
  • Paediatric Medicine: 2 seats, 2 years

MCPS Eligibility

  • Regular employees of PESSI may apply only after getting NOC from PESSI Head Office.
  • Contract/retainee doctors are not eligible for MCPS training.
  • Age not above 45 years on the last date of submission of application.

Documents Required

  • Passport size photograph
  • Matriculation (Science) and Intermediate (Pre-Medical) certificates or equivalent
  • MBBS degree or equivalent recognized by PMDC, with detail of marks of all professional exams
  • Valid PMDC registration
  • Complete house job certificate (1 year)
  • Valid CNIC and Domicile (Punjab only)
  • FCPS Part-I pass certificate and attempt certificate issued by CPSP (for FCPS only)
  • University level position certificate (if any) and NOC for Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees (if any)

How to Apply

Submit online applications from 22 May 2026 till 31 May 2026 through the web portal ssthlhr.com.pk. Download the filled form and submit a hard copy with duly attested copies of all documents in person (in an office file) at the office of the Medical Superintendent till June 3, 2026 from 08:00 am to 02:00 pm, and get a diary number. Applications sent by post or courier will not be entertained.

Last date: June 3, 2026 (online applications close on May 31, 2026)

Important Dates

  • First provisional merit list: June 13, 2026
  • First grievance committee: June 15 to 16, 2026 (second provisional merit list on June 17, 2026)
  • Second grievance committee: June 18 to 19, 2026 (third provisional merit list on June 20, 2026)
  • Final grievances accepted until June 22, 2026

Important Notes

  • Candidates who joined but resigned in July 2025 and January 2026 inductions, or who were terminated, are not eligible.
  • Contract employees of PESSI may apply for FCPS Part-II only with a valid NOC from PESSI Head Office.
  • Merit as per Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab and Central Induction Policy.
  • Stipend as per PESSI rules. No residence and no TA/DA will be provided.
