Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Peshawar invites applications for the CPSP-approved two-year fellowship program in Surgical Oncology. There is scope for a further one-year advanced, site-specialised training with the mutual consensus of the trainee and the hospital.

Eligibility

• Full FCPS in General Surgery
• Valid PMDC / PMC registration

Program details

• Duration: 2 years (additional one-year advanced training is optional)
• Rotation through various site-specialised oncology teams under the supervision of consultant surgical oncologists, with regular appraisals
• Patient care in outpatient clinics, inpatient floors and operation theatres
• On-call rota for the emergency assessment room and inpatients
• Participation in academic activities including presentations, research, audits and teaching junior doctors and nurses
