Applications are invited for appointment on ad-hoc basis from suitable candidates having the required qualification and experience.

1. Senior Consultant Cardiac Surgery / Associate Professor of Cardiac Surgery

• BPS: 19, Posts: 1, Age: 30-50 years
• Qualification: MBBS or equivalent from an institute recognized by the PMDC and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomate of American Board in the respective specialty, or equivalent recognized by the PMC / PMDC. If none is available: MBBS with FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomate of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant) with three years post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute
• Experience: Five years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor or equivalent, with at least 3 research papers published in a PMDC / PMC recognized medical journal as Assistant Professor in the respective specialty

2. Consultant Anesthesia / Senior Registrar Anesthesia

• BPS: 18, Posts: 2, Age: 26-45 years
• Qualification: MBBS with M.Sc or FCPS in the relevant subject or equivalent recognized by PMDC. If none is available: MBBS with postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject or equivalent from a recognized institution with one year practical experience in Anesthesia at a recognized institution before or after post-graduation

3. Consultant Cardiologist / Senior Registrar Cardiology

• BPS: 18, Posts: 3, Age: 25-45 years
• Qualification: MBBS recognized by PMDC with FCPS (Cardiology) or MS (Cardiology) or equivalent; or FCPS (Medicine) / MD (Medicine) with minor diploma in Cardiology recognized by PMDC. If none is available: MBBS with post-graduate minor diploma in Cardiology or equivalent with two years practical experience in a recognized institution before or after post-graduation

Terms and conditions

• Total posts: 6
• Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Centre, Samli Murree is an attached institute of RIC; selected candidates may be deployed there
• Male / female applicants with domicile of Punjab may apply
• Ad-hoc appointment initially for 1 year, extendable subject to good performance
• Age and experience will be calculated on the last date of application; age relaxation as per Punjab Recruitment Policy 2022
• Separate application form for each post; government employees should apply through proper channel
• Original documents required at the time of scrutiny / interview; no TA / DA admissible
