Qualification and experience
- Senior Consultant: MBBS with FCPS or MD/MRCP (with CCT), FRCR, M.Phil/PhD/MRCPath (pathology) or Diplomate American Board or equivalent recognized by PM&DC, with at least 9 years experience after post-graduation; five (05) research papers in PMDC/HEC/international recognized journals
- Consultant: same qualifications with at least 3 years experience after post-graduation; two (02) research papers
- Junior Consultant: MBBS with FCPS or MD or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by PM&DC
- Preference to research papers published in impact factor journals
Terms
- Candidates from all over Pakistan may apply for Senior Consultant, Consultant and Junior Consultant posts; other posts need Punjab domicile
- Lump-sum contract for three (03) years; institutional practice allowed, private practice outside the institute not permitted
- Government servants must apply through proper channel; equivalent qualifications need an HEC or PMDC equivalence certificate
- Quota: 5% minorities, 3% persons with disabilities; age relaxation as per Government of Punjab policy
- Screening / written test may be held; only shortlisted candidates called; no TA/DA
