> The Research Clinic: A Doctor’s Journey from Question to Publication is a free, story-led blog series that guides clinicians through research step by step.

Over the years, a recurring concern has consistently been expressed by both junior and senior clinicians: uncertainty about where to begin in research. This reflects not a lack of capability but a systemic training gap, where clinical excellence is emphasized while research skills are underdeveloped, despite their importance for career progression.

To address this gap, a free blog series titled **“The Research Clinic: A Doctor’s Journey from Question to Publication”** is being started. It is a story-led, step-by-step series in seven parts: why research matters; the question and the literature; study designs; methods, measurement and the synopsis; data and statistics; writing; and publishing.

The series will be presented in a narrative format, following the journeys of multiple healthcare professionals as they face common research challenges. Through their experiences, practical lessons and solutions will be illustrated.
