Admissions: Certificate in Medical Teaching (CMT) at University of Health Sciences Lahore

The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission to the six-month Certificate Course in Medical Teaching.

Eligibility

Applicants must fulfill at least one of the following conditions:

  • Be a faculty member serving as Senior Registrar, Demonstrator, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in a recognized medical or dental college or teaching hospital in Pakistan; or
  • Be an on-campus M.Phil. or Ph.D. student of the University of Health Sciences, Lahore.

Programme Structure

  • Duration: Six months, conducted in two instructional blocks of four (04) days each at UHS Lahore, with an interval of approximately three (03) months between the blocks
  • During the interval, participants submit online assignments to their mentors. Attendance in all sessions and submission of assignments (portfolio) is mandatory.
  • Processing fee: Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable, non-transferable)
  • Course fee: Rs. 70,000/- payable at the commencement of the programme

Apply through the online portal at https://admissions.uhs.edu.pk and upload scanned copies of required documents along with proof of payment of the processing fee. In-service applicants must submit a valid NOC from the competent authority. Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC and/or PM&DC, as applicable.
