The Divisional Director Health Services, Quetta Division invites applications from eligible candidates for the appointment of District Surveillance Officer (B-17) in districts of Quetta Division, purely on contract basis for one year, extendable on satisfactory performance.

Disease Surveillance Officer (DSO MO/LMO Contract, BPS-17)

• Seats: 2 (Chaman: 1, Killa Abdullah: 1)
• MBBS/BDS degree from any institute recognized by the PMDC
• Permanent PMDC registration with postgraduate qualification
• Priority will be given to SPH/MPH/FETP Fellows
• Age limit: as per current Government of Balochistan policy
• Candidates from all over Balochistan are eligible to apply

Job description

The DSO will lead, coordinate and supervise all surveillance activities in the district and act as the single point of accountability for surveillance data and outbreak response, including reviewing the surveillance system, active case searches, community engagement, investigation of alerts and outbreaks, case line-listing and data reporting.
