• Qualification: MBBS / FCPS training completed, with valid PMDC license
• Experience: 3 years of relevant ICU experience
• Job type: Full-time
• Duty timing / shift: Alternate night (9:00 PM to 9:00 AM)

Job Description

• Oversee and guide Shift Medical Officers in prompt patient assessments, updating consultants on admissions, evaluating vital signs and relevant tests, devising treatment plans, counselling patients and families, coordinating patient management and discussing diagnoses with consultants.
• Perform daily rounds, assess admitted patients and counsel attendants with the medical team.
• Communicate current issues and proposed solutions to the management and consultants.
• Review and monitor patient treatment, carry out related procedures, and re-examine patients who do not respond to standard treatment.
• Respond to patients immediately, take lead and delegate tasks to medical staff (call for help, medication, CPR).
• Document all steps and communications, update counselling files, and supervise communication with medical officers and consultants.
