Appointment Criteria for Initial Full-Time Consultant Positions (candidates must meet one of the following)

1. Candidates trained in Pakistan:

• Successful completion of a formal postgraduate medical education program
• Award of the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS)
• Completion of a relevant sub-speciality Fellowship

2. Candidates trained internationally:

• Successful completion of MRCP (UK), FRCS, or another equivalent international fellowship
• Alternatively, American Board certification(s), including the relevant sub-speciality boards, where applicable
• In addition, candidates must have at least three years of experience in a Western institution
