Director Research & Innovation, Assistant Professor, Senior Registrar and Postgraduate Trainee at Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Lahore

Vacancies are available in the constituent units of SIHS: Shalamar Hospital, Shalamar Medical and Dental College, Shalamar Nursing College and Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences.

Director Research and Innovation

  • MBBS with a PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or an equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in translational research, research administration and industrial collaboration.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SAS, SPSS) and a strong understanding of research methodology, biostatistics, scientific writing and research ethics; should have obtained research grants.
  • Will lead research and innovation activities, mentor faculty and postgraduate trainees, support proposal development and grant writing, and secure national and international research funding.

Assistant Professor

  • Gastroenterology, Medicine, Oncology

Senior Registrar

  • Cardiology, Nephrology

Requirement for faculty appointments: Level III or Level IV qualification as per Pakistan Medical & Dental Council approved criteria for appointment and promotion.

Postgraduate Trainee

  • Cardiology, Plastic Surgery
  • Qualification: MBBS; completed FCPS (2 years) in General Medicine / General Surgery
  • Eligibility: as per CPSP guidelines
  • Required documents: all educational documents including MBBS detailed mark certificates / provisional and attempt certificates, house job certificate, RTMC (General Medicine / Surgery), training completion certificate in General Medicine / Surgery, valid PM&DC registration and CNIC
