Faculty Positions and Lecturer at MTI Hayatabad Medical Complex and Affiliate Institutes (KGMC, IKD, B&PSC, PICO and FHH) Peshawar

Applications are invited under the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Act 2015 for the following vacancies.

1. Faculty Position: Ophthalmology, Public Health

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
  • PM&DC recognized medical qualification in the respective/relevant specialty, or other equivalent qualification approved by the Standing Recognition Committee (SRC) and recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
  • The candidate must meet the PM&DC and MTI criteria for faculty selection.
  • Upon selection, the candidate will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant, Associate or full Professor).
  • For Ophthalmology, preference will be given to candidates with experience in dealing with corneal pathology.

2. Faculty Position (PICO): Epidemiology

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC, plus PM&DC recognized qualification in the relevant specialty, meeting PMDC and MTI faculty criteria; OR BS Vision Sciences Optometry with MS/MPhil in Epidemiology.
  • Candidates having PhD (Epidemiology) will be preferred.
  • Upon selection, the candidate will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant, Associate or full Professor).

3. Lecturer (Basic Sciences)

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification fully recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
  • Candidates with relevant additional qualification and professional experience will be preferred.
  • Pay: Grade/scale as per IPS of MTI-HMC and Affiliate Institutes
  • Processing fee: Rs. 3000 for faculty positions and Rs. 2000 for Lecturer (non-refundable)

Download the application form from www.kgmc.edu.pk. Submit the duly filled form with bio-data and attested academic/experience documents to the Human Resource Department, Khyber Girls Medical College, PDA Building Block-IV, Phase-V Hayatabad, Peshawar, within two (02) weeks of the publication of the advertisement. The processing fee is deposited with the cashier (Account Section) of KGMC, or online in the account of KGMC titled “Salary Account of KGMC Employees”, Bank of Khyber, with the deposit slip attached to the application. Government servants should apply through proper channel with NOC. No TA/DA is admissible.
