4 Years FCPS Training Program (Level-I)

  • General Medicine, Anesthesiology, Pediatric Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Physiology
  • Eligibility: Candidates who have passed and hold a valid FCPS-1

2 Years FCPS Training Program (Level-II)

  • Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery (3 year program), Pulmonology (3 year program)
  • Eligibility: Candidates who have completed 2 years of FCPS training in General Surgery / General Medicine (concerned discipline) and passed the IMM exam

3 Years FCPS Training Program (Level-III)

  • HPB & Liver Transplant
  • Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the FCPS-II exam in General Surgery

2 Years MCPS Training Program (Level-I)

  • Anesthesiology
  • Eligibility: Candidates who have completed a one year house job and hold a valid PMC/PMDC registration

How to Apply

  • Download the application form from www.gims.edu.pk.
  • Required documents (all candidates): application form, CV, 2 passport size photographs, copy of CNIC, copies of Matric, FSc, MBBS degree, MBBS detailed marks sheet, house job certificates, valid PMC certificate and FCPS Part-I congratulation letter.
  • Additional for Level-II: CPSP congratulation letter for FCPS-I, experience certificate of 2 years training, all CPSP workshops, BLS and IMM certificate.
  • Additional for Level-III: certificate / election letter / congratulation letter for FCPS-II and updated PMC certificate (FCPS qualification added).
  • Application fee: Rs. 2,000 via demand draft in favour of “Director Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences”.
  • Interview in the respective departments: candidates will be informed on call.
