The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Instructor in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, Aga Khan Hospital (off-campus hospital), Karimabad, Karachi.

Requirements

• MBBS degree with a valid license from Pakistan Medical Commission
• Completed structured postgraduate training in Paediatrics from a reputable institution
• FCPS or MRCP in Paediatrics
• Excellent interpersonal, teaching and training skills
• Excellent procedural skills and ability to provide quality and safe patient care in a diverse setting
• Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
• Willingness to work in shift duties

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision in inpatient and outpatient services along with senior faculty members
• Perform daily team rounds, formulate care plans and expedite discharges in consultation with senior faculty and fellows
• Teach and train undergraduates and postgraduates
• Formulate quality initiatives and contribute to patient complaint and case reviews
