Applications are invited for appointment on contract basis for the projects “Construction of Building of 100-bedded Cancer Center at Nishtar Hospital, Multan” and “Provision of PET Scan & Cyclotron Machine at Nishtar Hospital, Multan” for a period of three years or till the posting of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.

Qualification and experience

  • Professor: MBBS or equivalent plus FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomate of American Board in the respective specialty recognized by PMDC/PMC (if none available, FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomate of American Board in General Surgery or Medicine with three years post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty); plus three years teaching experience as Associate Professor or equivalent (total teaching experience as Assistant / Associate Professor not less than 8 or 9 years) with at least 5 research papers
  • Associate Professor: postgraduate qualification as above, plus five years teaching experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent with at least 3 research papers
  • Assistant Professor / Senior Registrar: MBBS plus FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomate of American Board in the respective specialty recognized by PMDC/PMC (if none available, in General Surgery or Medicine with three years post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty)
  • Medical Officer / Women Medical Officer: MBBS recognized and registered with PMDC, with one year experience of regular house job

Age limit

  • Assistant Professor / Senior Registrar: Male 25 to 45 (+5 = 50), Female 25 to 45 (+8 = 53)

  • Candidates must have domicile of any district of Punjab.
  • Attach two attested copies of all certificates (Matric, F.Sc and MBBS with each year’s transcript), experience certificates (especially house job), domicile, two passport size photographs, CNIC and valid PMDC registration.
  • Candidates already in Government service should apply through proper channel.
  • Bring all original documents at the time of interview. No TA/DA for interview.
