Postgraduate Training, TRMO and Consultant Neurology Positions at Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD)

The Medical Education Department of SICVD invites applications through its online portal for training and contractual positions at SICVD Centres in Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Tando Muhammad Khan, Lyari, Baldia, Sehwan, Nawabshah, Mithi, Khairpur and its CPU Network. Basic eligibility for all training positions: MBBS, house job and valid PMDC registration.

Training Positions

Department of Adult Cardiology

  • FCPS Postgraduate Trainee (3 years): FCPS-I with IMM training completed; IMM passed candidates preferred. Centres: Sukkur, Hyderabad, Larkana, Baldia, Tando M Khan
  • Clinical Fellow (1 year): FCPS Cardiology / MD Cardiology training completed. Centres: All centres

Department of Interventional Cardiology

  • Post Fellow (2 years): FCPS Cardiology qualified. Centres: Sukkur, Hyderabad, Larkana, Tando M Khan, Baldia

Department of Paediatric Cardiology

  • Post Fellow (3 years): FCPS Paeds Medicine qualified. Centres: Sukkur and Tando M Khan
  • Clinical Fellow (1 year): FCPS Paeds Medicine training completed, or MD / MCPS / Diploma in Paeds trained or qualified. Centres: All centres

Department of Cardiac Surgery

  • Post Fellow (2 years): FCPS Cardiac Surgery qualified. Centres: Sukkur, Hyderabad, Larkana, Tando M Khan
  • Clinical Fellow (1 year): FCPS Cardiac Surgery training completed. Centres: All centres
  • FCPS Postgraduate Trainee (3 years): FCPS-I with IMM training completed; IMM passed candidates preferred. Centres: Sukkur, Hyderabad, Tando M Khan

Department of Paediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgery

  • Clinical Fellow (1 year): FCPS Cardiac Surgery training completed. Centres: Sukkur, Tando M Khan

Department of Anesthesia

  • Clinical Fellow (1 year): FCPS Anesthesia training completed, or MD / MCPS / Diploma in Anesthesia trained or qualified. Centres: Sukkur, Hyderabad, Larkana, Tando M Khan

TRMO (Contractual), Department of Adult Cardiology

  • Qualification: MBBS, Dipcard training completed with 1 year of experience in relevant field
  • Centres: All centres and CPUs

Consultant Neurology (Contractual)

  • Qualification and experience: As per PMDC rules and regulations; relevant qualification and experience preferred
  • Quota: Sindh
  • Age limit: Up to 45 years
  • Centre: Sukkur

  • Log in at https://pgme.sicvd.org.pk/ to apply and follow the procedure on the online portal. A candidate can apply for only one position at a time.
  • Applications are accepted only through the official online portal; no physical form, courier or hand-delivered applications.
  • Selection is purely on merit. Applicants can apply from all over Pakistan.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview / test. No TA/DA admissible.
  • Government employees must apply through proper channel and bring NOC at the time of interview.
  • All courses are full-time training positions. Stipend as per SICVD policies. Training will start from July 2026.
