Senior Medical Officer (Medicine & Surgery Department) Job at General Practice Hospital, Islamabad

General Practice Hospital invites Surgical Medical Officers to join its Surgery Department, delivering patient care across emergency, ward and peri-operative services.

Qualifications

• MBBS with postgraduate training in Surgery & Allied (FCPS / MS)
• Valid PMC registration

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in Surgery & Allied specialties
• Proven experience in independently managing medicine & surgery OPD, ward patients and emergency cases
• Strong clinical decision-making skills in acute and chronic medical & surgical conditions
• Experience in intensive care and stabilization will be an advantage

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage medical & surgical OPD, ward and emergency patients
• Assess and stabilize acute medical, surgical and trauma cases
• Assist in pre-op, post-op and recovery patient care
• Perform minor bedside procedures within competency
• Coordinate with consultants, ICU, anesthesia and radiology
• Maintain accurate records, notes and discharge summaries
• Ensure patient safety, infection control and on-call coverage
