Medical Director at MTI Ayub Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad

Ayub Medical Teaching Institution (ATH/AMC/ACD) Abbottabad, a 1500-bed tertiary care hospital under the MTI Act 2015, requires the services of a Medical Director (01 post, male/female).

Qualification

  • Medical academic with MBBS or equivalent, plus a higher diploma such as FCPS, FRCP, FRCS or a US board certification or equivalent qualification in any clinical medical science recognized by PM&DC.

Experience

  • Record of excellence in clinical care and at least three years of management or administrative experience in management positions, such as head of unit in a major hospital clinical unit in any clinical discipline (medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics/gynaecology and their subspecialties, radiology and imaging services, pathology or any other major clinical unit).

Terms

  • Contract basis for 5 years, extendable for further 2 terms of 5 years each at the discretion of the Board.
  • Faculty appointment at a level commensurate with qualifications.
  • Must practice only on the premises of the hospital; no outside consulting practice.
  • Attractive salary package and benefits based on qualification and experience.
  • Processing fee: Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable), deposited in Account No. 0827-0010024387000010, Allied Bank, Mirpur Branch, in the name of “Hospital Director”.
  • Government/semi-government employees must apply through proper channel with NOC.
  • No TA/DA for interview.
