Admissions in Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE), Session 2026

The Institute of Medical Education (IME-JSMU), Jinnah Sindh Medical University Karachi, is offering admission in the sixth batch of the Master of Health Professions Education programme.

  • Seats: 25
  • Eligibility: At least 16 years of education from an HEC and PM&DC recognized institution (or equivalent registered respective regulatory body) in MBBS, BDS, B.S Allied Health, B.S Nursing, Pharm.D, BS Physiotherapy or equivalent, or BMT.
  • One year of teaching experience in an educational institution will be preferred.
  • Admission is strictly merit based. Final decision will be taken by the Admissions Committee.

Admission process

  • Application form and prospectus are available at www.jsmu.edu.pk
  • A pass in NTS-GAT (General) is mandatory. NTS-GAT results should be submitted with the application form. Applicants awaiting GAT should submit their registration receipt along with the application.
  • Every applicant must submit a NOC from his/her head of department/institution permitting him/her to attend the programme.

  • Last date: April 15, 2026 (form submission along with NTS-GAT result, or registration receipt of GAT (General) held on May 10, 2026)
  • Multiple Mini Interview (MMI): April 28, 2026
  • GAT result: July 2, 2026
  • Announcement of final result: July 6, 2026
  • Last date for fee submission: July 30, 2026
  • Start of new session: September 14, 2026
