Medical Officers and Dental Surgeons (Fixed Pay) required at Health Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Health Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites applications from qualified individuals (male and female) for posts in Primary & Secondary Health Care Facilities of the province on fixed pay basis for a period of one year, extendible based on satisfactory performance.

Medical Officer (1425 posts)

• Qualification: MBBS or equivalent from a recognized university
• Completion of house job training
• Valid PMDC registration
• Age limit: No age limit

Dental Surgeon (250 posts)

• Qualification: BDS or equivalent from a recognized university
• Completion of house job training
• Valid PMDC registration
• Age limit: No age limit

Terms

• Appointments under the KP Health Department Contract Appointment of Doctors (Fixed Pay) Rules, 2022; non-transferable, non-pensionable, non-permanent contract for one year against a specific health facility.
• In case of foreign qualifications, PMDC registration is mandatory.
• Doctors already working in the public sector may apply under Rule 7(2)(1) of the Contract Rules, provided they resign from the existing post.
• Interviews by the Departmental Selection Committee as per schedule notified by the concerned Commissioner’s Office. No TA/DA for interview.
• Merit list valid for one year from the date of interview.

How to apply

Submit applications in hard copy to the concerned Divisional Commissioner with all relevant documents. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post. Apply facility-wise as per the list of facilities at www.healthkp.gov.pk
