Medical Officer / Lady Medical Officer (BPS-17) to be posted as Disease Surveillance Officer (DSO), District Panjgur
Applications are invited for the position of Disease Surveillance Officer (DSO) on contract basis in the Health Department, District Panjgur, Makran Division.
- Posts: 1 (District Panjgur)
- Qualification: MBBS/BDS degree from an institute recognized by the PMDC
- Priority will be given to MSPH/MPH/FETP
- Permanent PMDC registration with postgraduate qualification mentioned therein
- Age limit: As per Government of Balochistan policy
- Candidates from all over Balochistan are eligible. Pay in the respective basic scale with applicable allowances. Contract may be extended on satisfactory performance; candidates will not be regularized.
- Government, semi-government and autonomous employees must apply through proper channel with NOC. No TA/DA for interview.
Job Description
The DSO will lead, coordinate and supervise all surveillance activities in the district and be the single point of accountability for surveillance data and outbreak response, including reviewing the surveillance system, active case searches and community engagement, investigation of alerts and outbreaks, case line-listing and data reporting.
