Admissions: MHPE, Diploma and Certificate Programs at Rawalpindi Medical University, Rawalpindi (Session 2026-2028)

Applications are invited from medical graduates for admission to the following programs.

Master’s Program

  • Masters in Health Professions Education (MHPE): 2 years. Eligibility: 16 years of education in relevant field; MBBS, BDS or equivalent recognized by PMDC; 1 year house job certificate; valid registration certificate with regulatory body. Fee: Rs. 400,000 for RMU faculty, Rs. 500,000 for non-RMU faculty.

Diploma Programs

  • Diploma Family Medicine (DFM): 2 years. Eligibility (national students): MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC; 1 year house job certificate; valid PMDC registration; 2 years of clinical experience including house job. Fee: Rs. 500,000.
  • Diploma in Dermatology: 2 years. Eligibility: MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC; 1 year house job certificate; valid PMDC registration. Fee: Rs. 300,000 per year.

Certificate Programs (6 months each)

Eligibility for all: MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC; 1 year house job certificate; valid PMDC registration certificate.

  • Certificate Course in CT Scan Technology: Rs. 45,000
  • Certificate Course in Health Care Quality Management: Rs. 25,000
  • Certificate Course in MRI Technology: Rs. 45,000

How to apply

  • Download the application form from the RMU website (printed in the ad as www.mur.edu.pk; official RMU site: www.rmur.edu.pk).
  • Submit the duly filled form by mail to the Office of Medical Education R & D Department, Main Campus, Tipu Road, Rawalpindi Medical University, Rawalpindi, along with a non-refundable bank draft of Rs. 2,000 from any scheduled bank in favor of Vice Chancellor RMU Rawalpindi (NTN 9020358-0).
  • Only short-listed candidates will be intimated for the entrance test/interview.
  • In-service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC from the concerned authority.
