Lady Reading Hospital Medical Teaching Institution, Peshawar invites applications for the following posts:

1. Chairman / Chairperson, Department of Radiology

  • Qualification: Medical degree and subspecialty training / certification in Radiology
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in a reputable institution after subspecialty training
  • Evidence of scholarly activity / publications and teaching is required

2. Chairman / Chairperson, Department of Paediatrics

  • Qualification: Medical degree and subspecialty training / certification in Paediatrics
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in a reputable institution after subspecialty training
  • Evidence of scholarly activity / publications and teaching is required

3. Chairman / Chairperson, Accident & Emergency Department

  • Qualification: MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PMDC/PMC, plus a higher qualification such as FCPS in Emergency Medicine, MRCEM, FRCEM, FEBEM, US Board certification or equivalent qualification in Emergency Medicine
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an emergency physician in a reputable institution
  • The selected candidate will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant, Associate or full Professor)

  • Attach a covering letter, detailed CV, photocopies of all relevant documents (degrees, experience certificates, research papers with authorship) and names, addresses and email contacts of three referees.
  • Processing fee: Rs. 1000 (non-refundable) to be deposited in MCB account titled “Receipt of Hospital LRH MTI” (Branch code 0958). Attach the original deposit slip.
  • Incomplete or by hand applications will not be entertained.
  • Candidates who already applied for posts at Serial No. 01 and 02 (advertised on 13-12-2025) and Serial No. 03 (advertised on 04-12-2025) do not need to apply again.
