This is a grant-funded contractual position at the Medical College, Karachi.

Supervise and monitor research staff and ensure timely completion of research projects
Develop SOPs and a manual of operations; train study staff on protocols and guidelines
Develop and conduct research studies; draft, revise and finalize manuscripts
Develop grant concepts, proposals and budgets; identify funding opportunities; support post-award reporting
Coordinate IRB/ERC submissions, amendments, renewals and closeout reports
Ensure informed consent, regulatory binders, data archiving and a QA/QC plan

Qualification: MBBS with MSc in Epidemiology and Statistics / MPH / Master’s in HPM or equivalent
Experience: At least two years of experience in managing research studies, including supervision of data collection, data analysis, and drafting and submission of research manuscripts
Experience in teaching, training and mentoring research staff
Ability to develop research questions in emergency medicine, trauma and injury
Excellent computer skills (MS Office and other relevant software)
Skilled in writing research proposals, academic papers, manuscripts and grants
