Faculty Required for Poonch Medical College, Rawalakot, AJK

Applications are invited from applicants having PM&DC eligibility certificate for contract positions and Department of Health (DoH) positions.

Professor (Contract 5, DoH 2): Anatomy, Pharmacology, Medicine; DoH: Gastroenterology, Paediatrics, Community Medicine, ENT. Pay: PKR 425,000 per month (contract).
Associate Professor (Contract 6, DoH 2): Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology (Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, Histopathology or Hematology), Medicine, ENT; DoH: Gastroenterology, Cardiology. Pay: PKR 325,000 per month (contract).
Assistant Professor (Contract 10, DoH 7): Anatomy (2), Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathology (Histopathology), Forensic Medicine, Medical Education, Hematology, ENT; DoH: Anaesthesia, General Surgery, Critical Care, Surgical & Allied (Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery, Paediatric Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery) (2), Pathology, Dermatology. Pay: PKR 225,000 per month (contract).
Senior Registrar (Contract 3 and DoH): Ophthalmology, Surgery, Gastroenterology; DoH: Senior Registrars of any clinical specialty, Cardiology, Dermatology, Gynae/Obs, Medicine (4), Senior Lecturer Community Medicine, Nephrology. Pay: PKR 100,000 per month (contract).
Demonstrator (Contract 10): Basic Sciences. Pay: PKR 100,000 per month.
Qualification: As per PM&DC criteria and AJ&K service rules
Age limit: As per PM&DC and AJ&K service rules
Teaching allowance: DoH posts as per policy

Terms: Contract basis under Contract Policy 2006 of Govt. of AJK for an initial period of 3 years (extendable). Merit basis with preference to AJ&K nationals and state subjects. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA.
