Walk-in Interview for Medical Officer / Lady Medical Officer (B-17) as Diseases Surveillance Officer, Rakhshan Division

• Post: Medical Officer (B-17) / Lady Medical Officer (B-17), to be posted as Diseases Surveillance Officer (DSO)
• Districts: Kharan, Chagai, Washuk
• Total posts: 3
• Qualification: MBBS/BDS degree from any institute recognized by the PMDC
• Priority will be given to MSPH/MPH/FETP with permanent PMDC registration with the post-graduate qualification mentioned therein
• Age limit: as per Government of Balochistan policy
• Appointment on contractual / ad-hoc basis; pay in the respective basic scale with applicable allowances. Candidates from all over Balochistan are eligible.
• Government, semi-government and autonomous organization employees must apply through proper channel with NOC. No TA/DA for the interview.

Job description

The DSO will lead, coordinate and supervise all surveillance activities within the district and act as the single point of accountability for surveillance data and outbreak response, including active case searches, community engagement, investigation of alerts and outbreaks, case line-listing and data reporting.
