FCPS in Health Professions Education (FCPS-HPE), Two-Year Exemption (Pathway-Based Training Program)

The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) invites applications for induction into FCPS-Health Professions Education (HPE) under the Two-Year Exemption Pathway-Based Training Program, to be conducted at the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), CPSP Headquarters Karachi.

Eligibility

• MCPS or Master’s degree in Health Professions Education (HPE)
• Qualification must be PMDC recognized
• At least two medical education related publications in CPSP-approved journals within the last five years

Selection Process

• Entry test (SAQs based on MCPS / Master’s level syllabus)
• Submission of a thesis proposal / synopsis aligned with FCPS-HPE research requirements
• Interview

Program Structure and Duration

• Blended model of face-to-face and supervised distance learning, with a mandatory commitment of 16 hours per week
• Duration: 2 years, comprising structured coursework, supervised thesis writing and thesis defense
