Admission Notice: Postgraduate Clinical Diploma Courses 2026-28

Nishtar Medical University, Multan invites applications from eligible medical graduates for admission to the following Postgraduate Clinical Diploma Courses (Two Years) / Level-II(b) Programmes for Session 2026-2028.

Programs and seats

  • D.G.O. (Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology): 36 seats
  • D.A. (Diploma in Anaesthesiology): 24 seats
  • D.C.H. (Diploma in Child Health): 24 seats
  • D.M.R.D. (Diploma in Medical Radiology and Diagnostics): 12 seats
  • D.C.P. (Diploma in Clinical Pathology): 12 seats
  • D.T.C.D. (Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases): 10 seats
  • D.O.M.S. (Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery): 10 seats
  • D.D. (Diploma in Diabetology): 10 seats
  • D.M.J. (Diploma in Medical Jurisprudence): 10 seats

Eligibility and conditions

  • Duration: 2 years
  • Only candidates holding Punjab domicile are eligible to apply under the Open Merit category.
  • Two (02) seats in each programme are reserved for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs), who must submit HEC/PM&DC Equivalence Certificate.
  • One (01) seat in each programme is reserved for candidates domiciled in provinces other than Punjab.
  • Candidates serving in Government departments must submit an NOC issued by the concerned Health Department, Government of the Punjab.
  • Employees (regular, contract, adhoc, etc.) of P&SHD and SHC&ME will join training only after obtaining Extraordinary Leave (EOL) or Study Leave.
  • Admission strictly on merit as per the approved admission criteria. Selected candidates must deposit the tuition fee within 7 days of display of the merit list.
  • Hostel accommodation will not be provided; selected candidates must submit an affidavit that they will not claim hostel accommodation.

Fee

  • Application processing fee: Rs. 1,500 (non-refundable) bank draft in favour of the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University, Multan
  • Entry test fee: Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable) bank draft in favour of the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University, Multan

How to apply

The admission application form is available on the NMU website www.nmu.edu.pk. Complete the form online, print, sign and submit it with required documents and bank drafts to the Diary Section, Office of the Vice Chancellor, NMU Multan. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

Last date: August 31, 2026

Admit cards: collect from the Student Section from September 15 to 21, 2026.

Entry test: September 24, 2026. At least 50% marks in the entry test are mandatory for admission.
