Situation Vacant: Chairman and Faculty Positions at Khyber Girls Medical College / Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar

Applications are invited under the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Act 2015 for the following vacancies at Khyber Girls Medical College, Hayatabad, Peshawar.

1. Chairman

  • Medicine & Allied: General Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Oncology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, ICU
  • Surgical & Allied: General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiac Surgery, Orthopaedic & Spine Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Urology, Accident & Emergency, Thoracic Surgery, Burns & Plastic Surgery
  • Radiology, Gynae & Obs, Pediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Medical Education

Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized / registered by the PM&DC
  • PM&DC recognized medical qualification in the respective specialty, or other equivalent qualification approved by the Standing Recognition Committee (SRC) and recognized / registered by the PM&DC
  • The candidate must meet the PM&DC MTI criteria for faculty selection

2. Faculty Position: Gynae Oncology

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized / registered by the PM&DC
  • PM&DC recognized qualification in the relevant specialty like FCPS / MS / MD, or other equivalent qualification approved by the SRC and recognized / registered by the PM&DC
  • Experience in managing onco-gynecology patients

Note: Candidates who have already applied for the post of Associate Professor Onco-Gynae in the previous advertisement need not apply again.

Upon selection, the candidate will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant, Associate or full Professor). Selected candidates will serve under a probation period of one year, extendable but not exceeding two years.

  • Processing fee: Rs. 3000 (non-refundable), deposited with the cashier (Account Section) KGMC, Peshawar, or online in the KGMC account titled “Salary Account of KGMC Employees” Account No. 3005642387, Bank of Khyber (BOK); attach the original deposit slip with the application form.
  • Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview. Candidates may be shortlisted on pre-interview marks or an entry test if the number of candidates is very high.
